Caverns

Melvin and I have had a chance to look at Luray and Skyline caverns, both of which are near the Washington DC area (in fact, they're within 30 minutes of each other).

These images were taking mostly without the benefit of a flash, as odd as that might seem. Modern lighting techniques seem to have handled things well enough for my digital camera to deal with. Still, these images pale compared to the real thing; I strongly recommend you try to get out to these places for yourself, if you're in the area.
