This sort of 'bridge' for the railway runs a good distance along the
edge of the town. Eventually, this railway will go across the Potomac. |
This is the same bit of construction, but significantly closer. I liked
the kind of geometric pattern used by the thick bits of wood to reinforce
each other to handle the load. |

This little gem stood in the baptismal area of the Roman Catholic
church in Harper's Ferry. I believe it speaks for itself. |
