It keeps getting better and better.

Dad no longer has to be concerned with dialyses... he doesn't seem to need it anymore, since his kidneys are working very well now. The nurses have commented that his recovery has been rather swift. They've done another bone aspiration (gathered another sample of his marrow).. we'll have the results of that sometime tomorrow I expect. This time, they were kind enough to put him out for it.

He's apparently starting to feel very good now, good enough to brave eating a Burger King hamburger. Of course, we were watching the news while he was eating it, seeing about that contaminated beef but what the hell... we're in a hospital!

He was moving around a lot today. Probably in part because the majority of the tubes they had sticking out of him have been removed.. he now only has the tubes in his neck to contend with.

Unofficially (of course) we're expecting Dad to be out of the hospital sometime around the beginning of next week.

If you've tried to contact him today, but couldn't get through, understand that we pulled the phone off-line.. the more rest he gets, the faster he gets out of the hospital... and he's tired of being in the hospital. You may compare today's against yesterday's results.
